Are you surenit is actually an increase? For me, I became suddenlt extremely aware of my involuntary kegels which made it seem like there were more of them, but there really weren't. Definitely ask that question to yourself, "is it really more, or just more noticable." I hope that helps. I still involuntary kegel, but I can subdue them with minimal effort now, don't give up.
    Focus on the positive :D

I don't so a reverse kegel routine. You should pul hard enough that you feel it is stretching, never more than that. Stretches alone will never cause more IKs, so you need to look at the rest of your routine to find the problem.

        • Are you sure these are involuntary kegels in the pelvic region and not just sensations in the penis it's self?

I can tell you now that I have definitely been feeling these sensations but they aren't coming from the pelvic floor, instead they are actual pulses and twitches that take place in the shaft of the penis.

I wouldn't be alarmed. I believe this is just the penis it's self being fatigued by the stretches it is not used to.

I have never really had involuntaries, or they have been so minor that I could not feel them. And I know what you guys are explaining right now as I have felt them too

My advice is to ensure you are getting enough time off from them and to not over do it. Do not do these stretches the day of masturbation if anything do it afterward

As long as you are seeing increased control then do not worry, I believe it's a sign of the exercise working. So far these stretches have seemed to give me more relaxation during masturbation

ok this is helpful, so should I stop reverse kegelling for a month and see how this goes? Or continue both

yeaaaaa I just realised they're around the base of the penis, so should I rest it or simply keep going? And do I stop my rk routine?

                  • I would do them for 2 to 3 days and give a day off to recoup and then repeat

                    • I'm beginning to notice a significant lack of tension within the pelvic floor since starting these stretches. Before, if I focused on them, I'd have to actively try and relax them. However now they already seem to be in a far more relaxed state. Looking forward to seeing if this progress can be noticed during sex in a few weeks when I see my girlfriend (I'm at uni, so have a month away from her!)

So if the spasms continue I should ignore them and continue? There's no way my pelvic floor can worsen from stretches right it's just fatigue

                        • I did a 2 month manual stretching routine when I first got into PE. I got a mild injury because I was too aggressive. I was entirely focused on adding length ignoring the Premature Ejaculation issue. Now it is the other way around.

Anyway, I did manual stretching with a different goal in mind tonight. Firstly, what are IKs? Like during my stretch sometimes I'd feel like I had to "release" something in my pelvic floor. This was done by relaxing mentally and "letting go of it". My question is, was I just trying to relax my PC muscles?

Also, I noticed OP suggests you do it every night but most guys on here require breaks due to fatigues issues. If you are not getting sex and edge 3-4 times a week, would it still be too much for ya to do this every night before sleep?

Lastly, how strongly should you stretch? Like just a general idea. I felt I had to "release" it more often when I stretched it at higher tension.

                          Thanks!

                          • I am going to try this without the masturbating till the PONR part but with Minuteman's guide and the stretches. This way I should be able to get rid of my IK and have better control when I decide to start edging or something. Hope it works.

I was doing both minuteman's and this program and I found minuteman's program to tense up my pelvic floor which is the exact reason why I am doing these stretches; since then I've dropped minuteman's program after reaching the end of level 1.

It tensed your pelvic floor up? I thought it is meant to balance you pelvic floor. I want to do it because I suffer from IK quite a lot. It starts as soon as I start getting an erection so it's bad. I need to make a thread for more info I guess. :/
