So Peg you feel that increased strength is valuable up to a point. What is the point of diminishing returns in your mind? I know that you believe that 20 second holds are all that is needed for DO. But what do you feel is optimal? e.g. What do you do as a regular routine?
Since I am going to move up to 100 k/rk 3 times per day next week, is that enough? Should I add holds, super kegels, erect k/rk?
And once I receive the book I was telling you about I am going to begin a poll about different symptoms so that we can gather more information about PFD in our inner circle of men working towards better sexual function.

Strength is nice to have but is especially valuable early on. However one shouldn't get hung up on it to the detriment of skill. One can do skill work within the k/rk routine .

I have lapsed into not doing a lot of formalized kegels across a given day as I did earlier. I still kegel outside of edging, but it is not as rigorous or as much rep wise than I once did. Those that I do tend to involve active manipulation of the pelvic floor rather than the strength and endurance work I once did. Is this a viable longer term practice or do I risk losing skill and relative strength if I don't do a lot of strength/endurance.BPEL 7.0 +1 1/8"

Ok remember I have been doing this for decades. My training has become less formalised ,like mv it tends to have a high skill component. This can be done long term and seems to maintain adequate strength. The trap is just becomeing slack and complacent and I have sliped into this a couple of times over the years. This can affect your mmo ability there is no doubt.

I am finding that the deep breathing actually elicits subtle kegels that are effective for me at various stages. A deep breath in tends to elicit a soft regular kegel and the out breath a flattening of my pc muscle and hence a rk.a focus on deep breathing during the hold

MV I have the opposite reaction with deep breathing. Kegels from exhalations rks from inhalations

100 k/rk, 15 second hold of k/rk, 3 times. I've been extremely busy since joining this site and starting this log. Just read the whole thing and realized that I have only edged 7 times in the last 3 weeks. I would say I have made substantial progress over that time period in regards to DO/MMO, but my speed at which I reach PONR/pleasure tolerance (whatever we want to call it) has still not improved.

Pleasure tolerance will come in time! It took 3 months for me to even begin to notice. Now a year and a few months later the time it takes me to get to the PONR is considerably lengthened. I really like your log. You seem to be taking a very similar approach to tackling your problem as I did. I will try to keep up! Keep up the great work. Thanks for the input Drummer. I'm not sure if I asked you this before but when edging what sort of grip intensity did you use? I believe we started with a similar level of PreE severity. I am using a very light level of stimulation otherwise I would ejaculate way too quickly to be able to benefit from training in my opinion, but others are saying I am training myself to be too sensitive. Also if you want to PM me about this as it is kind of personal, how did you go about bringing it up with your lady friend? I'm not ready to do that yet but I'm trying to figure out how. Thanks.
Today I did kegels 100k/rk, 15second k/rk holds 3 times. I can't edge because of all of the shit I have to get done.

Does anyone think that overtime with diligent practice it is possible to reduce the refractory period down to under a minute? I know it is a chemical reaction due to an increase in prolactin. But refractory period is defined as the time after orgasm during which it is physiologically impossible for an individual to have another orgasm. Now if someone can DO and be multiple as I believe I have on occasion and guys like MV and Peg are proficient at does that not then disprove the previous statement. Orgasms occur in the brain, which is plastic, so we should all be able to influence (train) them to some degree.
More specifically I am referring to the erectile refractory period. The one that is more important to me at the moment. I am not sure what mine is, but I am sure that it varies. Let's say its 15 minutes. If I ejaculate and wait 10 minutes, then try to achieve an erection, could I work it down to 10, 7, 3, 1, 0 minutes? I know there are studies of yogis who lower their heart-rates to ridiculously low levels. Why can't men have absolute, as close as is humanly possible, control over their erections?
