More specifically I am referring to the erectile refractory period. The one that is more important to me at the moment.
I am going out on a long limb now. I am not a physiologist or physician and I may be dead wrong. If so I stand corrected by someone who knows more fact. I do not have a refractory period when I DO. I believe this is so because with a DO, you are separating the ejaculation from the orgasm. During an ejaculation something occurs (perhaps the prolactin release) that necessitates a refractory period. If the ejaculation is stopped or somehow prevented the prolactin or whatever is not released because there was no ejaculation. Therefore no refractory period. An orgasm may have occurred but an orgasm per se does not elicit a refractory period.

Why can't men have absolute, as close as is humanly possible, control over their erections?
Many women {apologies in advance to any female readers] would say that men are typically controlled by their cocks

More seriously I think as each of us learns more refined arousal control we are in essence gaining more and more control over our erections. But only a slim few of us might become true erectile yogis who have absolute control over physiology.

I don't fully understand the question. With dry orgasm you can have no refrac period ,it is well established and many guys have done it and continue to do it.

The first part is just stating that I think the definition of refractory period should be changed. The question is whether or not a man can train his body not to lose its erection after ejaculation.

          Connor: glad you clarified

I'd like to know the answer too and I hope the answer is yes!

This keeps coming up and I find it very strange that guys seem to have an aversion to dry orgasm as the mmo answer. I can't see where the advantage of wet mmo is supposed to lie.

Firstly reading on the forum ,one would think that wet mmo is common, it is not. Some young guys can cum more than once with a given erection ,this is very rare and internet boasting should not be taken seriously.
As for guys claiming to have "trained " themselves to do this, I have repeatedly asked for a how to re training and have had not a single word in reply ,except for partial ejaculation.

Ok, so here is your how to re multi ejaculation. Proceed as per dry orgasm but let out a small amount of ejaculate, repeat. This works, I have done it ,but just don't see the advantage.

Its not that I want multi-ejaculation. It would just be another way for someone like myself to work around their PreE until they gain control and can manage their way through intercourse. If we could reduce our refractory period enough our PreE problem would be a much smaller problem for our partners.

Yesterday did my kegels routine of 100k/rk, 20sec hold k/rk 3 times

Every man is born with premature ejaculation, so having it is perfectly normal to start with. Controlling ejaculation is something you have to learn just as you had to learn to control your bladder as a child. We get taught to control our bladders but no one teaches us how to control ejaculation.

The American Academy of Family Physicians confirms that: Behavioral methods are helpful for more than 95 percent of men who have premature ejaculation. So, if you have tried exercises and they have not helped it is because they have not been explained properly to you. Many of the treatment programs offered online have not been written by professionals.
Do not waste time or money on sprays, vitamins, herbs, dietary supplements or drugs. This is a learning problem and these things will not help you learn to control ejaculation any more than they can help you to learn to speak another language.

There are a lot of high-priced programs advertised online but all you need is an inexpensive little book written by a doctor and sex therapist that has been used successfully around the world for more than 32 years.

It is called "Lasting Longer: The Treatment Program for Premature Ejaculation" by Dr. Sy Silverberg M.D. For more information just search for the authors name: Dr. Sy Silverberg M.D.

Umm no every man is not born with pre e ,some have ideal control and some like myself had delayed ejaculation.
It will be a gereat day when the mainstream catch up to what we are doing here.

Don't mean to offend you but I don't really need you to plug a book in my progress log. I already own it anyway. It contains some good info but obviously has some ridiculous statements like the one that Peg responded to. Please do not do that again.

Yesterday and today did my same kegels as on Monday (previous post). No edging.

First day edging in a while. Only lasted 3 minutes and hit PONR instantaneously. Lately my testicles have been held very close to my body especially when aroused. Is this from the increased kegels? Will it go away? 100k/rk 30sec k/rk holds, 3 times.

I figured out a time in my schedule for edging. I will be edging 3 days a week hell or high water.

I think there is a case to increase yout rk %, which is currently circa 50%.
From memory, I also had concerns re 4 way balance in your case.

Yes. What percentage should I shoot for? You wanted me to focus on front standard and front/back reverse (trying to limit rear standard). I have been focusing on doing this, when I kegel I try to contract the BC mostly.
