Just want to thank voodoochild for everything he has done for all of us on this thread! cheers mate, it means so much that even though you have almost recovered/recovered your still dedicating alot of time and thought to us all in struggle right now. I have taken his advice and started tre which i do believe to be working (5 times a week for me atm) but too soon to see any drastic improvements as of yet i guess. i have been doing hamstring/quadricep, inner thigh and outta thigh stretches which help with pelvic floor tension, which i believe is helping slightly but just worried that as it is super tight, it may not be enough and am travelling atm and will be for the next few months so pysiotherapy isnt an option. but time will tell and just got to trust the process of no pmo, stretching, tre and trying to be more positive as hopefully got a girl waiting for me back home and she was used to sex 5 times a night (Damn you past me haha) so 40 days in no porn/masturbation) hopefully by september on my return things will have improved and this hard flaccid will be a thing of the past!! thanks again voodoochild and all the other big helpers here such as obitoo and stevieeLong and thin slides right in, short and fat pounds that tw@t

If you give in to the worrying and keep that up...it will turn into a lot more than just fatigue or whatever has happened. You'll be fine. Don't bring your head into this as difficult as that may be.I'm really worried because I'm having a hard time getting hard. I've had a hard flaccid feeling before (usually after a lot of sex), but this is more intense. I'm praying to god its just fatigue...
I want you to go about your life as if nothing had happened. Your normal functioning will return sooner than later if you take that path. If you don't you will wind up with a slew of other problems including a nervous system that is out of control.
cheers

Thanks for the input. I have had a similar experience with neurological problems in the past and it took over my life, which is why I'm freaking out. It took my 2.5 years to get over my past problem and during that whole time, I abstained form sex. I've been having greater regular sex for the last 3 months for the first time in my life, and then this happens and its quite scary. Adopting such a mindset is extremely difficult once you have been through hell prior, but is the best to have in any situation.Originally posted by VoodooChild View PostIf you give in to the worrying and keep that up...it will turn into a lot more than just fatigue or whatever has happened. Its been two days since the event and the firmness of the penis is the same. I cannot get hard to save my life. I went to a doctor and he said not to worry..but I'm having all the symptoms of firm flaccid (no pain though). This seems like the beginning of a scary road to recovery...

Just something you guys might be interested in.
I had a mild case of HF on and off for about 8 months. I think it was caused by doing too many kegels. Anyways, for the first week or so, it was really bad, but I had read about it on various PE forums before even starting PE, so I kind of had an idea of what it was when it happened. I did all the recommended stuff other than see a PT (stretches, reverse kegels, pelvic massages, etc). Stretches such as deep squats along with reverse kegels seemed to help the most, especially doing reverse kegels while in the deep squat position. After awhile it mostly went away, although I continued to have flair ups (to the point where I couldn't achieve an erection at all sometimes), continued pelvic floor spasms, and my flaccid hang seemed to be "airy" or "fluffy", as if there was a lack of blood flow.
Well, last month I had some gallbladder issues, and was in and out of the hospital for about half a month. After an operation, I had trouble urinating, so they stuck a catheter in me. When they first tried to stick it in, they encountered some problems. It would go about 2/3 of the way in, and then stop, as if there was an obstruction. The nurse mentioned that it was like "hitting a brick wall in there". If anyone has ever seen a catheter, the tube is fairly thick. They called a urologist, who put some numbing cream on the tube, and then forcefully JAMMED the thing up into my bladder through my urethra. I had the catheter in me for about a day, at which point they removed it.
I was in the hospital for about 10 days total, so I was bedridden for most of it. Pretty much in a relaxed state the whole time. During this period (after the catheter was removed), I noticed that my flaccid dick was fatter than I had seen it in 8 months. It was as if the circulation to my dick had suddenly returned to full flow. I think that after 8 months of mild pelvic floor issues, I had forgotten what it was like to have a normal, plumpy flaccid. I was discharged, and my flaccid hang/erections have been completely normal ever since.
I'm not recommending people with HF to stick things up their dickhole. Just recounting something that happened to me, and thought some people might be interested.

its day 3, and hard flaccid is still there. Depression has set in and I prepare for another year of something bad again. I've already had one health problem for years that I got over and now I must fight another one. It depresses me like no other knowing I had strong erections a few days ago and haven't had one in 3-4 daysOriginally posted by HCB14 View PostJust something you guys might be interested in.

Well, it's only been 3 days. The first week or so was the worst for me.Originally posted by MikeCares View Postits day 3, and hard flaccid is still there. Anxiety and stress will only make it worse.
For now, try to forget about it (don't check your dick every 15 minutes), and focus on distractions as much as you can. My HF got much better when I had something at school/work that kept my mind off of it. Do stretches for 20 mins a day, deep squats while reverse kegeling helped me a lot. Also, walking with glute activation seems to help, along with correct posture while seated.

Have you had success with reverse kegels / pf exercises? Any other things that you can say showed improvements.Originally posted by HCB14 View PostWell, it's only been 3 days. The first week or so was the worst for me.

I just read your post above. So you were having some success, but nothing solid.
So was there some kind of blockage that was removed after the catheter was put in?Last edited by longerlastingnoob; 05-28-2015, 06:49 PM.A Game of Bones. A Stretch With Rice And Fire.

Reverse kegels and stretches helped. I think the key is to do them together. So deep squat, hold the position for about 2 mins, and reverse kegel holding each kegel for about 5 - 10 seconds each. Continue reverse kegeling the entire 2 mins you're squatting. On top of that I would do groin stretches, and take walks. While walking, I focused on correct posture, and glute activation. Here's a vid (I think someone may have posted it in this thread before) describing proper walking technique:Originally posted by longerlastingnoob View PostHave you had success with reverse kegels / pf exercises? Here's another vid discussing glute muscles in relation to the pelvic floor:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOoTC9DpB3k
When I first got HF it was pretty bad, but I knew what it was so I started stretching and whatnot almost immediately after I got it. The worst of it went away for the most part after a couple of weeks, however, if I was stressed, or sitting for a long duration with bad posture or something, all the classic symptoms would come back (hard rubbery flaccid, trouble urinating, weak erections, etc). I also continued to experience random spasms in the perineum area, and my urine stream seemed "clogged", like I had to really push sometimes to get it all out.
I was completely symptom free for the first time in almost 8 months after being discharged from the hospital. I don't think there was an actual blockage. I'm not 100% sure about this, but what I suspect was happening was my pelvic floor was still tense, which was then constricting the inner urethra. I think that's why many people who experience HF also have urinary problems. The urethra is constricted, making it difficult to urinate. I think tight muscles also constrict certain nerves and blood vessels, which also explains difficulty achieving erections, pale or blue colored glans, and numbness. When the urologist forced the catheter in there (catheter tubes are fairly thick in circumference), it "separated" those tight, constricting muscles...if that's that makes sense. Since I had the catheter in me for over 24 hours, and all I was doing during that time was lay in a bed on painkillers, the pelvic floor muscles that were tight had no option but to sort of relax and return to their normal position. I think it also helped that I was in bed relaxing for almost all of the following 8 days after getting the catheter removed.
I really don't know the exact science behind it. All I know is that I had symptoms of a tight pelvic floor, ended up in the hospital for unrelated issues, had a catheter in me for a day, and now I don't have pelvic floor dysfunction.
I also continue to do stretches and reverse kegels on occasion, but that's because I'm paranoid of it coming back lol.
EDIT: Oh, and I almost forgot.
One thing I used to do while I had HF was deep squat with a bathmate on. So I would get an erection (or as close to one as I could), put the bathmate on, leave it on for about 10 mins, pump it up to max suction so it would stay on without leaking (it would often start leaking in the deep squat position unless the suction was really strong), do a deep squat, and maintain that position for about 5 mins. Sometimes I would pull the bathmate up towards my chest/stomach while I was doing this. I found that that also helped stretch the pelvic floor.Last edited by HCB14; 05-28-2015, 08:10 PM.

There is a member here with hf and urinary issues. I'll direct him here so he can talk to you about it himself.Originally posted by HCB14 View PostReverse kegels and stretches helped.
