Spent some more time with my daughter in the hot tub this evening talking.
She had mentioned to her cancer surgeons in St Louis that she had a friend with her 1 in 3 million cancer on her track team in college. Their mouths dropped open and were like, what? They had never had a patient with her rare cancer say that They knew someone with it Too. Sadly her case will end badly sooner or later. It's in her blood now.
That story tonight scared the shit outta me.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.Comment

I wanna thank everyone for the prayers. Please keep it up. Looks like they worked from an insurance stand point. My daughter and wife will be hitting the road again on Aug. 2nd for tests and consultation with the new insurance card in hand. Surgery to follow. Praying it goes well. I wanna thank my brother in law. Dave you worked overtime on this, I owe you bro. You are a true Christian. Helping to save my little girlie with very little in it for yourself financially. You Rock!

So. Got some knee shots today, kinda a awkward situation at South Bend Orthopedics. My daughter and I spend a lot a time there. She's had two surgeries this year, multiple pre and post opp visits. Along with her pain management doc visits. There was a tradegy there two weeks ago. Prayers to the families please. A frustrated husband shot and killed a pain doc that he felt was not relieving his terminal wife's pain on site there. Terrible. Now she's alone, terminal, the Doc's family is without him, and many of his patients are looking for their pain answers.

New avatar today. All three of us, at least the three still in the house, I told my 26 year old son to move back in. Megan will need all the love, prayers and support she can get after surgery.

It's my lovely wife's birthday today. I came to our store today, I had obviously been crying again.
She tells her friends on Facebook that I'm not handling the situation wel. She saw me this morning. Asked. 'Are you having a nervous breakdown?"
I replied. Possibly, never had one before, so IDK. I'm drinking way to much, even for me. I can't sleep that well. Exhausted all the time. Disinterested in sex. Nothing good has ever been found at the bottom of a bottle. I know you want to escape your current situation but you have to just keep pushing on and being strong for your family.
Please remember booze is a depressant. It won't help in anyway at the moment. I was always told only ever have a drink when happy.

Be thankful you have a wife that isn't afraid to ask you those kind of questions. Not one that lets you deal with the issue on your own. Even though she is dealing with it herself. It gives both of you the opportunity to get some things off your chests.
As others have said you are strong and you are that strength they need right now.

Thanks a lot. My girlie just got out of her PET scan and in her CT scan now. MRI tomorrow with consultation after. Damn I wish I could be there. Got a store to run.
