I had considered that at first but since I am a grower, I need to be able to unscrew the tension rods so that I can reach my full flaccid stretched length (takes 15-30 minutes) and have some tension once I have reached my full stretch. So the next best thing was to modify the glans support. Without the modification you would have to stretch yourself about an inch to get it on to the ends of the rods and then you'd have to get it all lined up perfectly to press the glans support down onto the tension rods. My modification only requires you to stretch about 1/2" and it makes it very easy to snap the glans support on to the tension rods and then press it down on to the tension rods.

I just uploaded a pic to my photo album showing what it looks like once I am strapped in. Before fitting the glans support to the tension rods, my glans is above the glans support. You can see that the tension pulls me down about 1/2".

And you have compression correct? I can stretch an insane amount and still have barely/no compresssion. Maybe it’s the 4000g springs. I’m trying not to over do it but yet get some compression even if it’s a minute level. It’s hard to know what the right level of tension/compression is the correct application for it to operate as designed.Originally posted by Cunny Linguist View PostI just uploaded a pic to my photo album showing what it looks like once I am strapped in. But we both know( you engineer, me aerospace machinist) design and practical application are usually two different things.

I do get compression, but it's in increments. When I first put on the extender the springs are compressed to almost the first line. Within 10 minutes or so I have stretched out and the springs are pretty much at the 'zero' line. This is when I unscrew the rods about 5/16" (8mm). I follow this pattern two more times until I have unscrewed the rods a total of 15/16" (24mm) and I am at my full stretched flaccid length. Ideally at this point I will have some some compression on the springs. My goal is to wear it like this for however long it takes (40, 50, or 60+ hours) until the springs are no longer compressed and my stretched flaccid feels a little 'loose'. When I feel that I am loose and there's no longer any useful spring compression when I have the rods unscrewed...that's the point where I will add in another .2" (0.5cm) extension rod.Originally posted by QEP View PostAnd you have compression correct? I'm not sure if anyone is still in this thread, but I may have a unique problem. I'm coming from using a cheap ebay extender. It actually works amazingly. I get full compression, and stretch about .5 inches past my BPEL. I've gained almost .5 inches on my BPEL so far.
I ordered the QEP thinking it would be similar to my other extender l, but sturdier and stronger spring tension(3000g), but that doesn't seem to be the case.
On my cheap extender, the way to increase tension, was to twist the knobs that would elongate the extender. In this process, you would further stretch the penis, and increase tension. On the QEP, at least from everyone here says, you don't touch the knobs at all. The only way to increase tension is to add rods.
Now I assume my cheap extender has less tension in the springs than the QEP, but it doesn't feel like it.
The problem im having adding rods, is I don't really feel any tension or anything, and I don't stretch as far as my cheap extender does. If I add too many rods, I can't even stretch far enough to fit into the device. With my previous cheap extender I was able to stretch at max spring tension for 2-3 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, and see incremental BPEL gains every 40 ish hours. It just doesn't feel like the QEP is doing anything compared to the cheap one I have.
Am I doing something wrong, or did I just waste money on the QEP?

Hi Bardok202,
I just sent you a PM...I don't want to hijack UB's thread more than I already have (sorry UB!).

Can you please clarify by what you mean by compression? I do everything seemingly correctly, but I still just feel nothing, as soon as I release it from when I compress it I dont feel any tension or anything, no pull, nothing, i'm at a loss of what im doing wrong, it feels as if the springs aren't actually doing anything?

I just recently purchased the QEP and find it to be pretty comfortable. I have begun to wear it to sleep as just using the silicone tube does not seem to agitate me at all. I bought the value pack and the rods it came with weren't long enough to feel like it was giving me a decent stretch so I placed an order to get extra ones. Do you push all the way down on the blue piece that goes on the rods? My starting rods weren't long enough so i leave that blue piece near the top and not pushed in all the way.

Hello I just recently purchased the QEP and I need some advice. It is currently my third day using the device, so I am still in the adjustment period.
My question is concerning strapping in while compressing the device/springs down. I know I have to compress the device/springs down while strapping in, but does that mean compressing until all three lines are covered? Because when I compress the springs while strapping in, I can only get the first two lines covered, I keep pressing to cover the third line but it doesn't cover it?
Also when I tighten the noose and release the compressed springs, the springs decompress and no lines are covered, don't really feel much of a stretch. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Disregard the lines, they have nothing to do with properly wearing the device. Compress the device until it it stops nothing should feel forced.Originally posted by Cherryguy View PostHello I just recently purchased the QEP and I need some advice. You won't be applying much tension first few weeks of wear and it's normal. After a couple months you will be and you'll notice the difference. Just stick to the program and hours per extension rod. The lines on the extender don't matter once again.Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

CorrectOriginally posted by Cherryguy View PostHello thank you for your reply. Okay I understand and I will follow as stated. So just to make sure even when I am compressing the springs to strap in, it is not necessary for all three lines to be covered while compressing?Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

So to get 4000 tension it automatically happens? I don't need to adjust the screws for traction. Im with alot of the same people on here I cant seem to get it to compress to the 1st or 2nd line. It mostly sits at the 3rd line then when stretched back above the 3rd line.
Is it more about adding rods and NOT adjusting those screws or do I still try and adjust them
