You can wear it up. Never had much success that way personally. Wearing it up puts it right at my belly button so unless I pulled a Steve Erkle with my pants jacked up I don't think it would keep the tension properly. I do flip it up when lounging in my PJs sometimes.
Customer service has been very responsive from my experience.
The extender comes with A LOT of extras including straps.
I have only been using one strap for ease of use but got a callous on my burrito just before the gland from all the tension resting in one place so I will be going back to two straps and using the comfort pad.

Quick Extender's customer service is unresponsive; otoh, that seems pretty much par for the course with these devices.
Do you use only one strap? It's designed to use two, no?
Also, can you purchase extra straps? How long do they last? I assume that the straps and the springs are the only things that need to be replaced periodically?Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

When you purchase the extender there is a CD that goes over an adaption period where you progressively add more time and tension. I followed that in my progress log. I never wear it 8 hours straight. Typically 60-90 minutes at a time. Then I take a 5-10 break and do some shakes or edging to get blood flow good again.
Originally posted by deeze6 View PostBurrito, i checked your logs and saw you were wearing 8 hours a day. I can barely wear for more than an hour straight and most i can do is 3 or 4 hours total before my penis goes completely numb.
Does this mean i'm doing it wrong or does it take a while for your penis to build up a tolerance?Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

Great thread! Love the curling iron bit
Wrapping behind the glans is the way to go with using an extender. I have sensitive foreskin (due to a condition called BXO that I treat with corticosteroid ointment) and have tried various types of wrapping material. I recently purchased some elastic bandage wrap and have been wrapping about 1/2 to 3/4 down my shaft. This has been the most comfortable by far.
.
I'll have to try your technique with tucking the silicone straps. I typically tie a knot to secure it.

I may have found the solution to the problem of discomfort behind the gland due to tension being concentrated there.
As you know the QEP comes with extra silicone straps. I took one of the extra straps and folded over like a horse shoe and then placed it between the noose and my burrito before tightening it down. It was a bit cumbersome to get everything set up right but I feel absolutely no discomfort. Granted I just put it on, but it is a noticible difference already. I will update later on how it went.Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

I'm calling it a success guys. Gone almost 6 hours with no discomfort from the tension. The only notable thing is that I have been needing to take it off after an hour due to the glans going cold an partial numbness. I have modified how tightly I clamp down and have seen improvement. I will continue tweaking until I find the optimal level. I also developed a way to make putting the silicone strap in-between really easy. Will upload picture soon.Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

Wow, very cool idea^^.
So after a bit of fooling around with this thing - just using one noose - I find that it's sort of impossible, it seems to me, to prevent pressure on the glans. Even if you gather some skin, and then gauze, still the pressure has to be "anchored" somewhere, and it seems to me that about 80% of it ends up being anchored by the glans.
Is that^ correct?
Also wondering: is 20 minute sessions here and there, adding up to 4-6 hours, as good as going more or less straight through? Or, inferior in your opinion?
Thanks!

I got some upgraded comfort techniques. I will post pics with more curling irons later. Basically take an infant sock and cut it so that only the part that rides up the leg remains. Use the tubing to replace the gauze. Add a foam pad (foam pipe insulation works great and is cheap) and you are set. Slide the sock over the burrito and and fold it back half ways so that it's a double layer, insert burrito into noose and slide foam pad cut to size between your burrito and noose and then tighten the noose down and lock in place with other technique mentioned here. Very comfortable. See my pic in profile.
As for duration, the longer you can wear it all at once the better. I usually take mine off after the initial 30 minutes and put it back on because I get a better stretch since I'm already loosened up at that point.Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

Thanks burrito ,
My QEP arrived last week and I’ve been able to get in between an hour and a half and three hours a day. my QEP arrived last week and I’ve been able to get in between an hour and a half and three hours a day. I’m going to have to get some gauze because the feeling when you pinch skin in between the silicone tubes When tightening the nouse is quite painful. I had been using one layer of paper towel and it seems to work OK but I think the infant sock Or the gauze is going to be a much better easier solution and I won’t get so much of the pinch .
I’m looking forward to building up my hours and maybe wearing without the comfort pads to work , but I certainly don’t want to have the embarrassing experience you did it one time . I’ve been wearing it for seven or eight days now chilling on the couch with my wife in the evenings and she has no idea that I’m wearing it. she doesn’t even know about it so I’d say with gym shorts and a long T-shirt it’s pretty discreet even with the comfort pads. Thanks for all the help and sharing your ingenuity with us all

I'm glad that I have been able to contribute back to the community and help other members. I believe the vast majority of the members who use extenders have seen gains according to progress logs. It's tried and proven with studies to back it up. I consider the rate of gains to be moderate but consistent. I was gaining exceptionally well when I was logging 8h per day with two rest days a week. Time under tension.Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

The most pressure is felt there but adding the foam made a huge difference.Progress Log | Extender Progress Log

Second day, huge & veiny flaccid hang for hours afterwards.
Actually, on the second day I started getting veiny and long/thick (but soft of course) within minutes of getting into the extender - which surprised me. I thought it would be thin, blood cut off, etc.
This thing rocks. Maybe i'll start a log. Thanks for you help!
