That is correct. When initially worn there should be compression on the springs. Naturally, as the day goes on the spring will decompress because the burrito has stretched out more. That is why it's good to readjust the extender every hour or so to ensure tension is being constantly applied. When you aren't getting much tension any more it's time to consider adding another extension rod.

I will be updating the first post to show the new most comfortable way to wear extender involving an infant sock as a sleeve and the foam comfort pads that come with the extender.

If you wear your extender under your jeans it's important to make sure that you switch sides evenly. It's most comfortable to wear my extender on the left leg but I tried to make sure I equally where at on the right leg just so that my base get stretched evenly in both directions. If you are not careful with these devices you can alter your erection angle.

Since this is the QEP thread, I guess I'll ask here before I start another thread:

Has anyone modified this with a vac? I want to be overly cautious with everything involving my dick, so I'd like to add a vac to it. Doing a bit of research and someone on reddit linked a vac bell and piece to fit to the end of a "normal" extender. No idea if the QEP is a "normal" extender, though.

Should the springs be fully extended?

I am 18,5cm bone pressed. How many cm should the extender be on? Is 4cm less adviced here, or should it be less than that?

The springs should be compressed when the device is on. It is normal for the springs to be fully extended after wearing the device for a bit. Just use trial and error. Add or remove rods and wear for am hour and see how it goes until you can put the device on and the springs are compressed and it doesn't slip off.

Another comfort tip guys. For those who wear the extender under blue jeans, they make stretchy jeans for guys that look decent and are extremely comfortable. I have some American Eagle ones. They make wearing the extender while sitting/driving very easy. The downside is that it makes the extender more noticeable but you just need to walk with you hand in your pocket when someone is coming your direction or wear a long coat.

Thanks for the advice. I have two follow-up questions if you don't mind:
                        • I believe the DVD that followed the extender said I was to subtract 4cm from your erect length for the extender length. Do you reckon this is way too weak pressure, even for beginners? I need lots of rods for the springs not to be fully extended, and then the point below happens anyways, so it's redundant at the moment.
                        • I have problems with my foreskin getting in between the noose and my glans, which leads to the noose slipping off. Do you have any advice in how to fix this?

If you are new to extending, follow the guidelines from the company. There is a conditioning period that you go through first and this helps you get comfortable with using the device. Following their program, you will be adding rods quickly initially. You also do not wear the extender at your full erect length. The device secures behind the glans so subtracting from your length accounts for that.

My best advice with the foreskin is to use the infant sock as a protective wrap and make sure your foreskin is pulled back before securing the device. There will be trial and error with this one.

Would anyone be able to post or send the directions from the DVD? I couldn't get it to play on my iMac and the directions I got from Customer Service say to wear this device with penis pointing upward...is this right?

Upwards is best when sitting and down when standing though it really doesn't matter. If you wear I under pants be sure to alternate sides so everything stays even.
