She’s heading back to Seminary to start her life again. Always the threat of the cancer returning but life must go on. She has a life time of follow up scans to look forward to. Sarcomas are never cured, just, managed.
As her departure day has been approaching I find myself more depressed and despondent every day. With no need for me to give her support emotionally, in other words, put on a happy face, I’ve lost my reason to be. Ironic that what should be a happy time I grow sadder all the time. I find myself crying again for no reason. I really don’t care if I wake up tomorrow.
Today was our 31st anniversary.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. So "Like" away please. My daughter needs your prayers. Thank You.Comment

I’m feeling sad right now. Been looking at pics of my girlie as little as a year ago, before the storm, the cancer, the chemo , the surgeries. My precious little girlie, so young, so thin, so gorgeous. So much life ahead of you, so much joy to bring to others. So many smiles. I love you Megan. I love you. You are so strong. Thanks man. Big week next week. Quarterly cancer scans and oncologist follow up 3 months after the end of her chemo. It’s crunch time, early recurrence is between the 3rd and 6th month after chemo. Even though things have gone the best they could have. I’m spent. Can’t take anymore. I’m one beaten down guy.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice. Great news today. Her scans were clear, “No evidence of desease “. Now if both of my ladies can get home safe a great day this would be.
On on a side note, LOL. Was driving home from hospital for my pre-op blood work for my next knee replacement surgery and my cardiologist called me personally. He had ordered a chest X-ray and there is a one inch something in one lung. Not worried, cat scan up coming.A prayer, is kinda the same as a "Like". If there are enough likes, God will take notice.
