I completely agree with you Grungar--
Rather than implementing an excerise that consists of a certain ratio of Kegals to RK's, I think doing : Kegal-RK-Kegal-RK-Kegal-Rk-Kega-RK etc.. would be a lot more beneficial. Here's why :
1) ( This allows a constant flow (back and forth) between the PC muscles and creates less tension/strain overall, in my opinion )
2) No one really knows EXACTLY how strong/weak, or unbalanced/balanced your PC muslces truly are. An exercise that favors one over the other may wind up causing the same issue, only reversed
3) I feel that after a tight Kegal hold, it makes it MUCH easier to perform an RK. My RK feels a lot "deeper" and more natural; Gives me more relaxation in that area.
4) I also believe that by doing Kegal excercices like this (K - RK - K - RK - K - RK), It will promote a more natural balance between the PC muscles. Though some may think this way of doing excercises might take a little longer to achieve a balanced pelvic floor, I feel that regardless of how unbalanced your PC muscles, ( whether its slightly or extremely unbalanced) doing an even ratio of Kegals will eventually bring you to a natural balance.
5) I also strongly feel that the Kegal before to the RK, gives you leverage and sets you up better, to perform a deeper/easier RK. This works both ways, as well. The RK sets you up for a longer/deeper regular Kegal.
To me, all this "Targeting certain areas of the PC muscles" and favoring one over the other.. is a load of crap. It just doesn't feel natural to me in any way. You can begin to recognize these mucles EVEN BETTER when doing this steady flow of Kegals to Reverse Kegals.
Give it a try... It's makes the exercise a lot easier for me.. Not to mention I had a very unbalanced floor and am now seeing significant changes after only 2 weeks.

I think working both at the same time is the way to go. I beleive that the body will stabalize them in the long run. Look at normal body work out where if you start working out with a bigger right arm (bi and tri) eventually the left and right arm will even out and become evenly sized say within a month or two.*
I think that working 4 way muscles as in minute mans dryorgasm guide has been very helpful for me. It takes time. Give it time. And, don't make my mistake of just balancing out. You have to commit to edging. The key is edging. If you train yourself to last longer while edging you will last longer in bed, because you are cultivating the habit of lasting longer. *
One really crucial point is: enjoy the point of low arousal as you edge. Don't enjoy the PONR. Tell your mind that You enjoy lower arousal ( level 7 where you stroke and don't go off) and keep at that phase and do actually enjoy it. And hate the PONR were it's something that you don't want. Tell your self ( by snapping out of PONR) "back to enjoying low arousal!" "low arousal is the best" "I want to stay here forever" and actually learn to enjoy edging in low arousal. As opposed to rushing to PONR to feel good while you whack it off. Don't judge yourself if you go To PONR, just talk to yourself that you enjoy low arousal and want to go there and stay there and please, DO actually enjoy it. Learn how to.*
So my recommendations: balance on 4 ways using MM Dryorgasm guide. And edge as if it were a religion, I recommend byggDS program.*

Pirate put the alternating kegel/rk case long ago though you put is stronger Eric. JamesM and others put the case for 100% rk at least in initial training ;the debate goes on.

My personal opinion is this:
1. Before you really understand kegels and have learned how to properly control the muscle group involved, reverse Kegels might be easier seen as just remembering to NOT Kegel during sex. It is important to keep the PC muscle relaxed at all times until point 2 comes into play:
2. Kegels should be a last line of defense when you have hit the PONR and all seems lost...
3. Other basic training like the start-stop method should be the main focus, especially for people who are new to all this.
Perhaps in time when more people can describe how to do reverse kegels in a way that is easy for others to understand, it might make sense to promote it so much. But for now it seems like it creates a lot of confusion as people try to understand how to reverse Kegel. I tried to explain this on my website about premature ejaculation, but once again, it is just one person's opinion.

A kegel is an exercise that will help you control your ejaculation. When you are urinating, stop mid flow for a few seconds, keep urinating, stop mid flow for a few seconds, and so on. Practice your kegels every time you urinate. Problems with premature ejaculation can be cured permanently. In this case, premature ejaculation solutions is needed that you recover permanently.

It is advised to kegel during urination only to discover the muscles ,not on an ongoing basis.
Training kegel without reverse kegel can worsen pre e.

Yeah, I strongly believe and encourage to attack the problem "head on" first with 100 RK's at the beginning not only to consentrate at making the reverse kegel stronger, but as a re-wireing or rebooting of the kegel system. You need to make your body forget about the problematic regular kegel so that it's is taught a bid lesson. You need to punish its bad behavior with a long TIME OUT. Once you do that and see some reverse kegel results, you can always go back and SLOWLY re-incorporate the regular kegels for better EQ or MMO/DO, although I use reverse kegels still only at PONR to DO and stop ejac. I notice if I keep pressure away from the underside of my glands, the tickle dosen't get stronger. I also found that I can't cum without underhead stimulation.:peace::hippie::rockon::music:
