  • I just started this training exercise a couple of days ago (tonight was literally my second night) and I have already encountered a problem.

    I had little problems the first night. I had to stop and calm down a few times when doing the second 3 minute part, but it wasn't too bad and I ended the night not ejaculating like suggested. However tonight I had a really hard time staying under control. I set my timer for 6 minutes for the first half but I had to stop so many times due to over stimulation that it was ridiculous. Right from the beginning I already felt like I was at 8ish. I would stop and calm myself down to about a 6 but then as soon as I started again I almost instantly shot back up to an 8. In the ended, I ended up ejaculating on accident not long after the second 6 minute set (I actually lessened the reps for the second set instead of raising them since raising them would have definitely resulted in ejaculation) had even started. I even got a little soft between the two 6 minute sets as I was resetting my timer and reapplying lube. Any suggestions on what I should do? Should I just stick to the 3 minute thing for a while instead of trying to up the time to 6? Or suggestions about my massive arousal jumps from 6-8/9 in just a few strokes?

    Also, I'm doing JP's 90 Day beginner Routine at the same time as doing this. I did my first session of that routine today about 6 or 7 hours prior to my session on this routine. Could that also be part of it? Would doing both these routines at the same time be a bad idea?

    • Hi I've started edging few days ago and thought I should visit this thread before I do something wrong.

      I have PreE and tried to fix it by doing kegels/reverse kegels/deep breathing but thought I ought to retrain my brain
      since I assume my PreE results from wrong masturbation habits with porn.

      It's a great post and I'm surprised to hear what you're friend has become to.

      That's amazing.

      I have a few questions though.


      1. By Week 1, do you mean I should masturbate every day and cum every 3 days?

      2. When I do not cum, should I just stop masturbating when the time is done? (for ex. 5 min or 10 min, whichever I determined to do for the day)

            So far so good. I have started my 4th week today and have noticed some improvements already. Week 1 and 2 I followed the same formula of not distractions at all, blind folded, ears plugs etc, I did this so I could really get an understanding of what happens when I get the urge to cum. I've noticed in the 1st two weeks that I have a lot of involuntary keegals, this seems to make things worse for me so I've been doing r/kg co counteract involuntary keegals. Working well so far.

            Week 3 was week 2 for me, added auditory stimili which straight away made things trickier, the sound seemed to have a negative effect on me and the 1st day I was at PONR within 2 mins, compare to 6/8mins in the 1st two weeks. I guess a lot of my PE issues might be physiological...the good thing about that its that I got used to the sound and by the end of the week I managed to edge for 20mins before PONR...this has never happened before so that its great.

            Today I've added video, only 5mins. Again, today it seemed trickier, I was at PONR within 3 mins...I guess it will be similar to week 3 where I have to get used to it first and learned to control myself more.

            Work in progress but I will say that so far I am happy with my results, some days are better than others but that's to be expected. I haven't been with a girl since starting this programme so cannot say for sure how things would pan out if that was the case.

            • I just started this technique, and I decided to write down my experience with it.

              First of all I would like to start with how did I end up here. I am in relationship with my gf for 4 years so far. First time we had intercourse I end it up right after I enter her, I explained to her that this probably happened because, her vagina felt so warm and that was my first time, but during our 4-years relationship I made her feel vaginal orgasm ~5 times (It might be so that she faked one or two). All the time i thought my PE problem will solve itself somehow, If i regularly have sex with her, but I still suffer from PE. Even thought my girlfriend is supportive and she understands that I have problems, I fell that our intercourse is not the same we had during first year of our relationship. Once I hear those noises it's a dead end to me, suddenly I start to feel that she is nearly done and...:
              1. I start to hustle as fast as I can hoping she will cum first.
              2. I try to ignore the noises she make and keep the same tempo, but then ideas like "Come on, don't you even thing about releasing the load now" comes to my head, but even my cock is nearly exploding or my brain is pushing me into the corner, I still try to satisfy her, usually I try to give myself a one final break, I dive into her vagina and try to stimulate her orally, meanwhile I try to push the end of my penis (performing stop and squeeze technique) and also giving my penis few seconds to rest, but after I know she already started making noises I can be in her vagina for no longer than 5 seconds.

              By the way those few times I made her happy was when I was using something: (Durex Performa / Alcohol / Somekind of delay cream).

              Anyway I really feel that the biggest problem I have is in my head, because I always, really ALWAYS think about how to last longer, how to make her happy, how crappy I always perform or any other pessimistic thought.

              Few times when alcohol helped me solve thinking problems, or I thought what condoms really helps me I was going for ~15minutes till I couldn't cum at all and lost my erection.

              Now about this technique. I started it yesterday, so:

              Day 1.
              I applied lube, set the clock for 15minutes and started jerking, my erection felt like it is 60-70% hard, the speed was ~2 strokes per second, and after few minutes I reached PONR, so i stopped for a while telling myself what everything is fine and I have to go back to level 7, but depending on my cock hardness I definitely went to level 5.5. So for few more minutes i was jerking again then the same thing. Then suddenly alarm announced that I am jerking for 15minutes, I felt alright, continued jerking till I reach PONR, and after less than a minute it came and I stopped, leaving myself with no orgasm that evening.

              Day 2. So I was keeping somewhere in between level 6-9, breathing deeply, and made up to minute 20, when alarm started, when i lost my focus a little, turned off alarm and kept stroking for one more minute till I reached PONR again, and stopped.

              So this is my previous experience using this technique. Please comment, what do you think I am doing right, or what I am doing wrong, and also if you have any other thought to share, because I would really like to make my girlfriend scream out of pleasure.

              I would also like to apologize for my English, because I am pretty sure some of my expressions are hard to understand..

              I forgot to mention something about myself...
              I am 23 years old, average guy with a little over sized belly, which grown from beer and eating before going to sleep...
              I am pretty sure that my PE problems could have came from early days when I was discovering parts of my body since 13-14years old, and watching porn while no-one is at home, but I was watching porn in a rush, I was always holding PC muscle as much as i could to reach orgasm as soon as possible.
              I don't know if further information is relevant, but it won't hurt to mention it: I am civil engineer so I spend a lot of time next to computer or in the car.
              When I go for sports I usually play basketball for at least 2 hours, but I get sweaty after 5 minutes of intense play, and I also run out of stamina very fast after about 10-15 minutes of intense play. After 5 minutes I am ready to go again. In the school I always had trouble running long distances like 2-3 km, but I was one of the fastest in 100-150metres sprint run.

                Ive been working on controlling my ejaculation response for a few weeks now, I've got to the point where I can reduce my level of arousal to a controllable level when masturbating without lube. However as soon as I add lube I just become way to sensitive and no matter what I try to do I loose control and have to stop completely to prevent ejaculation.

                Any ideas what I could do or just keep going with the routine?

                • A suggestion for you, Newboy, would be to add lube but edge a lot slower, and maybe a lighter grip also. Then build up from there. I had to do the same thing at one point.

                      For a little background I started this program right after he posted it. It has been over a year but I can remember everything about it. I was lasting about 1-2 min during sex before I started. (Which was an improvement from where I started prior, 2-3 seconds. Yes you read that right...) I couldn't do the last week because I couldn't last 20 seconds to porn, but after stopping at the point my stamina in sex went up another 2-3min as long as I took my time and went slow.
                      This program did give me some success.

                      There were many great concepts I continued doing from this program and it helped shaped my Arousal Techniques Program on the sticky. The arousal techniques program also includes this thread, because it was very important. This thread was also what got me into cognitive behavioral therapy and the belief that you can reshape the pathways through the brain that effect habits. By treating Pre-E as a self-learned habit you can reshape your brain to go around the "Pre-E" segment that is programmed in there and sort of create a "detour". Overtime the detour becomes the main street and then hopefully over the years the main highway!

                      I would recommend to any new member that you learn more about your arousal before starting this thread to make sure that you have a psychological problem and not a physical one. In the Arousal Techniques sticky you can learn what your arousal symptoms are and how to deal with them. Then later in that program, whenever it calls for you to do the program on this thread, you will have a background on what to expect and I think you will have better results. However, you are more than welcome to dive into Byddg's program first if you want. This is just my recommendation.

                      I don't post too often on the forums because I am working on some big things concerning Pre-E in the near future. I am free to PM anyone needing help and I will also try to post on here to answer specific questions. I have successfully dealt with Pre-E and can now last as long as I want so I have a lot of experience with this.

                          • Sounds like a pretty solid guide. It's quite funny for me. When I try to have sex with a condom, I can't get hard at all, lose erection and so on. But when I try to do it without a condom, I want to cum too fast too soon and I naturally never do it, since I don't want to have children. It's not really enjoyable. I don't know what to do.

                                Just one question, I don't have a regular sexual partner so it could be a few weeks before I have sex with a girl. Do you think it's important to have regular sex after you have mastered the method whilst masturbating?
