By Jove I think I've got it... So in essence a front reverse Kegel feels a bit like when you take a piss without as much pressure (basically not involving your abs like when peeing) too slow down the stimulation when edging and a Kegel is like stopping a piss mid flow for stopping the spunk gun from shooting at the ponr? please say I'm right as I was previously soooo confused by this. Dude am I right?

Confusion with Reverse Kegels

RK's if used right will keep you back from the PONR, but to stop yourself from cumming at the PONR you need to hold a strong kegel, and to do that you need to be conditioned.Originally posted by UK1989 View PostSo reverse kegels are key to stopping your orgasm near PONR?
And a kegel is importing to holding in your cum if you do reach PONR..also gives you better erection quality?

Why there is no other information whatsoever on internet about RK but only about standard kegel? The only pages I found are actually based on this thread. Is there any medical evidence of the effects of doing RK? anecdotic evidence from this forum is not enough since there could be long term problems of it. Any reference to a medical journal or paper? Thanks.

Ups, and btw, the thread that asked the same in this forum two years ago has not a serious response.Originally posted by papelucho View PostWhy there is no other information whatsoever on internet about RK but only about standard kegel? first time posting, would like to share my experience, hopefully can be helpful to do so for myself and and others here.
had premE since a young age due to excessive masterbation + anxiety
have experienced times in my life where it hasnt been a huge issue
things that have worked for me in conjunction:
stop masterbating excessively or impulsively
exercise ( an ongoing routine or sport) reaching a new level of fitness for yourself
getting enough rest every night ( healthty sleeping pattern)
reducing nicotine and alcohol
working on being aware, breathing, relaxation prior to sex, being in the right mind state, knowing when its better to skip having sex (or masterbate) if you are stressed, anxious, bored.
these things all seemed to help and for a while i was doing great but now im back to having a big issue and no girl friend makes it harder to practice/ make progress
letting myself go back to smoking/drinking/ not exercising as much in addition to being more stressed by longer work hours (more of an issue of less free time relaxation time) also possibly the biggest factor for me, impulsively masterbating when bored, and watching porn.
`hopefully i can make another attempt at cleaning up my bad habits, while working on keggle/RK. i notice the execessive masterbation or masterbation multiple times in a row causes tenseness in my pubic muscles? especially the muscle under my penis that almost touches the anus, im trying RK and back RK because i feel alot of tension and involuntary keggle while masterbating in the muscle that is below my penis and just about touching my sphincter. i have been doing rk for a couple weeks and i dont feel much relaxation of these muscles, are there any other methods to weaken or relax these muscles? do i just need to do rk for months before i see results? would i bennefit from no orgasm for a long time, i realize that orgasming alot has made my keggle/ orgasm muscles very strong and tense
edit: something that worked for me in the past with working out/eating well was to try and be so exausted at the end of the day that you just pass out when you hit the bed. (most days, remember you need time to recover from workout) most of the time i would feel great/ exhausted from the day, or be sore and recovering from the previous, and would not feel like masterbating, after weeks of this my seratonin levels were probably higher and i was feeling and looking stronger plus my heart/ cardio were improving.Last edited by RENO SRAM; 11-16-2013, 12:16 AM.

Hi RENO SRAM
1. The first and most important thing you need to do is to get started on edging and build your lasting time gradually without reaching PONR. For further details see https://www.pegym.com/forums/beginne...ing-101-a.html
You need not to ejaculate after every edging session. You can ejaculate twice a week or so.
2. To overcome involuntary kegal, read https://www.pegym.com/forums/prematu...aculation.html
3. Build your pelvic floor muscles through reverse kegals, yoga, body squats, and regular kegals. Also learn deep breathing. https://www.pegym.com/forums/prematu...se-kegels.html
You can also try tennis ball message of your pelvic floor. Just sit on a tennis ball under your anus, and do reverse kegals. This makes it more forceful. Similarly you can do regular kegals with tennis ball under your penis base.
4. Try to lower your histamine levels through supplements like Methionine, magnesium etc. This should accelerate your progress.

Hey guys, two questions:
1) I am not sure whether I identified the BC muscle. So, if I do a normal kegel, something inside contracts, easy to feel. Now, if I release, and then push out the same area, I feel like it is inflating. Am I inflating the PC muscle? Because that area is below my testicles. I can feel this with my fingers, to see how it contracts with a kegel and how it expands if I push out (as usual, tensing my abs). But since all around this post people talks about the "base" of the penis, which seems to mean in between the scrotum and the penis, I am not sure I am actually doing a reverse kegel! I cannot feel any movement there or not even be able to move something over there!
It is so easy now to inflate the area below my scrotum, just by pushing out. It has a strange feeling though. Not pain but it feels different after inflating down there.
2) Usually when I am in the PONR I don't do anything but let my penis have the spams as standard. But I have tried to push, like trying to urinate, this is, pushing the semen out, and it feels different but very nice! It is a weird feeling because it feels like you did not push out all what you would have if not done that. Is this just doing a reverse kegel at PONR or it is something just stupid?
Thank you very much for all those contributing! I hope to improve my problem although I think I am also very sensitive and I am not sure RK will help me... hopefully it will!
cheers

another question to add to my previous two questions!<br>
<br>
3) I found that when my penis is erect the area below the scrotum that I described in 1) is extremely hard. Does that mean that I have a very tense pelvic floor? It is totally impossible to relax it by pushing out (RK?)... no effect at all. Just to clarify, I had never masturbated compulsively (3 times per week at max but sometimes 1 per week or even less) nor watching too much porn (usually softcore and erotic porn) so it might be just a natural thing?<br>
<br>
thanks!<br>

Hey papelucho!
I am new in the field aswell, but maybe my experience can help you in some way.
1. I would suggest doing meditative reverse kegels and taking deeeeeep breaths. Meaning, not into your breast, neither just pushing out you stomage. DEEP means breathing into your pelvic floor! You might dry this a little bit.
Important is aswell completely relaxing your abs! They should be totally relaxed. I noticed, that when I do deep breaths to control my arousal, that it did not work that good, when I noticed my abs to be a bit tensioned. So look on this. Maybe it can get you further.
And btw. I am still not able to do reverse kegels properly without deep breathings - neither am I sure if am doing them right then. But the deep breaths realy help me!
3. Exactly, that is one part of your pelvic floor. For me there is like a front and a back part. You have to relax BOTH parts in order to reduce your arousal.
My experience shows, that reverse kegel can counter kegels - BUT you still kegel.
Therefore you have to TRAIN relaxing your pelvic floor by will - AND THEN add reverse kegels.
Learning this is is a BIG part I guess. But just have an eye on it whenever you think about it and then relax consciously. I already improved a little.
2. Theres nothing I can tell you but: keep going and trying - you will learn from it even if you are on the wrong track.
Keep going! ItsPossible!Keep on rocking!
It is not about never failing - It is about failing and CONTINGUING!

I am completely new to this. I found this forum as I was searching for a cure to my lifetime premature ejaculation problem. I have tried everything known, but nothing seems to work.
As I understood from this thread is that reverse kegels might be the solution that I am looking for but I am finding it quite difficult to do. I am still trying to learn how to do reverse kegels. How much time did it take from you to learn RK?

Reverse kegels can be difficult to learn, there are however many threads onsite if you look around to help you. A point here though is to not expect perfect isolation and a lot of "feel" straight away.
Ok pap while there is other info on the net about rk this site (and for that matter I) have been a force in popularising them. Much of the info on the net does indeed trace back to our work here.
Medical texts and physio talk of relaxing the pelvic floor and do train people how to do this . However I am not sure this is the same thing as reverse kegel and even if it is ,it will take them many years to catch up to the point we are currently at . So in the same way as Yoga etc years ago, there is no medical evidence that I know of re rk.
