I'm actually doing Kingpoles routine and it's Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I feel like I'm seeing gains. It all depends on what you're working for and the excercises you do. The V jelqs I'm doing for girth are very intense so my penis needs the rest and after the v jelqs I go straight into edging which can last for close to 40 minutes sometimes.
But to answer your question, I think that rest days are just as important as workout days, so 1 on 1 off shouldn't make your gains slower. Many people have had success with 1 on 1 off!!!
