Also last week I had a super scary lig pop, and since then I've been terrified of downward stretching. Made me realize how much I pushed my luck with that, as it never ever felt right to me, and gave me zero EL gains anyway.
I'm not giving it up altogether, but I'll have a more relaxed approach from now on. I'm back to the trusty straight out lock stretches, for cementing basically, and if something ends up happening I'm sure I'll be able to tell visually, so no more measuring either.
After just a few days my EQ is as good as ever and everything about my unit feels right again. Not to mention I'm more than happy with my size right now
