Ya know, I don't think I've said it, but MY GIRLIE IS CANCER FREE!!!!

Thanks for the prayers, still along way to go, but Timmy is finally gone. Everyone give themselves a pat on the back, your Prayers did the trick. I love you all, i can't thank you enough. You've given me back my girlie. I crying my eyes out right now. You are all the best!

Well damn. Been busting ass today to fill gaps in the schedule at the store and find a hotel. Guess we are goin to St Louis tomorrow for the first of two reconstruction surgeries. Hey Docs, thanks for the heads up. So, I gotta open tomorrow, up at 3 am, work a bit then start a 6 hour drive to St. Louis, no worries, ugh.

So, I made it to St. Louis, waiting for the wife and Little Girlie. Walked, well, limped a block to a Local Bar and Grill. Did you know you can't find Miller Lite on Tap in St. Louis? I don't get it. Anyway, noticed a lot of boarded up windows. Guess the riot reached this area. Kinda a worried about my family now, they won't get here for awhile more.

Another reminder today of the power of God and prayer. Thank you all. They just took my girlie back to begin the nerve replacement, graft and reworking other nerves to save the use of her hand. Her nerve surgeon before hand was amazed all six pathologys were negative for cancer. A true miracle considering the amount of time the cancer was present. Thanks again.

So, tough post surgery evening. Lots of pain, nausea. Found out the nerve surgeon cut her pain meds in half, so, they've been doubled. So glad she stayed in hospital or we'd have never known.

You all deserve a big hug, or a pat on the back at least. Third and last surgery today, hopefully, and 8 hours to boot, third surgeon in ten days. A complete success, like the first two, couldn't have gone better, you all and your prayers did the trick. Again thank you all. However, you all ain't quite done yet, so don't put the Rosery away yet. The next 24 hour are critical to a successful skin graft. Blood flow must be maintained between the micro sutured blood vessels and infection must be prevented. So a few more prayers please. Looks like Mom and Dad will tag team the next 7 days while my girlie stays in hospital. Love you all!

She may be released tomorrow she's doing so well. She's one scared up girlie though, hand, arm, both legs, inner thighs. Got me thinking and sad about how many scars she has already for her age. The only limb that remains pristine, the way it was 25 years ago when we brought her home for the first time is her left arm. Tomorrow I bring her back to that same house with about 3 feet of new scar. But! She's cancer FREE!
