  • My current routine for this past week. April 29 to May 3.

    Miner adjustments.
    As with last week, erections come too easily. Had to adjust the morning warm up as get hard pretty quickly.

    Morning Warm Up -> right when I get up.
    • 60 1 handed squeezes (right hand then left)
    • 30 two handed squeezes (alternating hands)
    • 30 In-Out Pulls (same grip)
    • 30 two handed squeezes (reverse grip, simultaneous)
    • 30 pelvic thrusts (maintain grip)
    • 10 dry jelqs (left hand)
    • 30 helicopter twirls, left hand
    • 10 dry jelqs (right hand)
    • Straight out stretch (Count of 30) ->usually pretty erect at this point, about 50-60%
    • Stretch each direction for 10 seconds.
    • Two handed grip shoulder raises (Count of 30 x 2)
    • 10 dry jelqs (left hand)
    • 10 Erect squeezes (focus on left side, count of 10 each)
    • 20 dry jelqs (Right hand)
    • 30 helicopter twirls, right hand

          • I impressed myself last night while I was edging in the shower.

            It was Saturday, and I was home alone, as the wife and son were away for the weekend. So I was able to put some extra time into it.

            Normally I do not do PONR edging much, I just try my best to get to maximum EQ without hitting maximum excitement. Last night was no different, but I did have more difficulty as it was the 6th night of edging and I was doing it for a while.

            Generally I do not ejaculate when edging, I make it my goal to save that for my wife. But last night I came to the conclusion that letting myself ejaculate would take some pressure off, and probably improve my performance when my wife got back home.

            After an indeterminate amount of time I decided to release. Now, I should mention that I have had a week off PE, and have been doing my edging without looking at my erection. So I was just staring straight ahead when I shot my load. This is the impressive part, it flew up into my line of sight.

            I shot a good foot and a half into the air. Don't do that much anymore.

            I'll be honest, I've been turning myself on just thinking about it.

              Week 8, from May 20 to 24 was a week off. I had felt somewhat fatigued, so I figured a few days off would help.

              Then I was back at it May 27 to 31.

              • Last week I kept a fairly intense routine, yet I did not see any fatigue. All five days in my edging I was getting excellent EQ, easily 100% each time. Morning wood was good. Generally when I do a routine like this I get days where the EQ is lower, or getting to 100 takes more work. I took this as a sign that I may need to increase a few things, so trying a few increases this week.
                So adding more jelqs and slightly longer Uli.
                Plus more intense edging.
                Monday and Tuesday EQ was 100% easily. Wednesday it was not so eager. So Thursday was a day off from PE. Edging as usual. We shall see how Friday goes, life stuff may interfere...

                This past week, the 3rd to 5th (three days), I did this:

                • Out of curiosity, how many minutes each session? And 3 a day? That seems like a gargantuan (sorry for the pun) task for a mere piece of erectile tissue...

                  Either way, I am sure the wife benefits. I read earlier you had a teenage son. Do you worry he'll find out about your practice, or do you actually not mind he become informed? I wonder if fathers should share the benefits of PE'ing with their sons...

                    The evening session I incorporate into my shower, so it adds about 10 minutes, but it's all good.

                      Thanks for the reply! I have no doubt that PE has enhanced your married sex life.

                      I also try to make PE sessions meditative. However, I do feel some physical enjoyment, not in a masturbatory way, but like a new welcoming sexual energy that's pumping new life in my whole genital area. What do you mean by 'keeping demons at bay' though? As a means of channelling less positive thoughts away? Asides from meditative PE, I also plan to add more regularity to simple meditation in the morning.

                      I believe that waiting for his questions related to sex or when there will be a concern he would want to discuss, provided he is mature, would be an opportune moment to present him PE as alternative option. In a world saturated by porn, isolation caused by internet media, games and other virtual distractions, PE would ground him to the present moment, help him get to know his bodily reactions and develop a better relationship with his body (not just his peen). I don't have a son, but part of me would really want to share and pass on the knowledge if I do in the future... because I would want him to achieve sexual fulfillment in its rightful time, and not have him suffer years of absent sexuality before blooming late. Once shared, we cannot push any further, as motivation to engage in it will solely depend on him (we happen to be unusually motivated compared to the average person).

                        I believe that waiting for his questions related to sex or when there will be a concern he would want to discuss, provided he is mature, would be an opportune moment to present him PE as alternative option. In a world saturated by porn, isolation caused by internet media, games and other virtual distractions, PE would ground him to the present moment, help him get to know his bodily reactions and develop a better relationship with his body (not just his peen). I don't have a son, but part of me would really want to share and pass on the knowledge if I do in the future... because I would want him to achieve sexual fulfillment in its rightful time, and not have him suffer years of absent sexuality before blooming late. Once shared, we cannot push any further, as motivation to engage in it will solely depend on him (we happen to be unusually motivated compared to the average person).
                        For me it is one thing to discuss questions related to sex. PE, however, takes a little maturity. I can imagine a lot of 18 year old guys injuring themselves. And it's not the kind of thing I'd want to supervise.

                              Last week marks the 14th week in this cycle. I did 3 weeks with a lesser warming up routine, then added in more intense stuff. I had a week break at week 9. Then 5 more weeks at an intense level.

                              I will go the next few weeks at a lesser level again to cement any work I have done. Then I will be on vacation for two weeks, so no PE work then. Measure and reassess in August.

                              I was going to push through with intense work, but I have hit a level of fatigue, both mentally and penile-y, that tells me it is best to back off a might.

                              • I'll be honest, I am experiencing some burnout. The last semester took a lot out of me. I was teaching 5 courses and taking 3 courses in graduate school. I did the same last fall, but I kinda let my teaching slide as I focused on the grad work. Unfortunately my teaching assessments reflected that, so I had to put in some extra effort, and it was rough.

                                Doing PE was a method meditation and helped me keep the mind centered, but now I am mentally tired with PE. I have not been posting on the 'Gym here as much as I used to, and I feel I do not contribute at a level required of a moderator. Hopefully I'll get back at it soon enough.

                                One of the contributing factors is my own minor penile dysmorphia. I didn't want to talk about it here because it is so stupid, but maybe by putting it down in writing I'll get it out of my head:

                                I was on reddit a couple of weeks back, lurking on BDP. This is usually a waste of time, too much exaggeration, so I try not to get too deep into it, but once in a while an interesting discussion will pop up. This one thread brought up a redditor with a verified 10 inch erection.

                                These types of things pop up here from time to time, too. I will look at them out of curiosity, and 99% of the time it is BS. It's always some guy with a fairly big member using camera tricks, etc, to exaggerate his own masculinity. We all know how really rare a penis that size is.

                                But this one looked real. A few folks at BDP were in denial, but there was some forensics done. And it shook me for some reason. By any measure I have a fairly big erection. Relatively speaking what I saw is not that much bigger than mine, but it just looked huge. Made me feel jealous. I have not have felt jealous of another man's penis in over 15 years. And jealousy is a terrible thing.

                                I think my own sex life may be contributing. My wife has started a new job. A good job, and she loves it, but it is taking a lot of time and energy. She is up by 6:45 and at work at 8 AM and gets home after 6. She tends to fall asleep around 10:30 from sheer exhaustion. The problem is the son is off school for the summer. He stays up late (too late in my book, but Mom says it's ok), so he is awake until after she falls asleep. So no nooky. It's been once in the last month.
